*sigh* Yeah, we went Conservative too in what was supposed to be a safe Liberal seat. Vote splitting. 34% Liberal, 18% NDP. (Or something like that--I haven't checked the final figures today.)

We really need proportional representation.

Definitely vote splitting. I haven't checked the percentages for my riding yet, but I will assume my family is a microcosm of why the Liberals lost.

My riding stayed Liberal, just.
What a strange, strange week it's been, eh?
We have the government we deserve, I guess.

We got the government that 40% of the country elected--I'm not sure the other 60% of us really deserve it.
