I see the things he does to you
All the pain that he puts you through
And I see what's really going on

Brian was built well-tall, broad shoulders, and so forth. This was usually something he considered an afterthought, since he preferred to be easy-going about most things, but he had to admit the advantages it provided when it came to intimidation.
He was taller than Stephen. Not by much, granted-a few inches at most-but it was enough, and he made sure Stephen knew it when he cornered him in his office: literally, barely an inch of space separating them.
“You’re upsetting Jon,” he said flatly, voice firm, and the way Stephen’s breath hitched didn’t escape him. “It stops now.”
“I-” started Stephen, and Brian silenced him with a look.
“No excuses, Stephen.” His voice dropped an octave. “Listen to me or there will be consequences.”
He wasn’t entirely sure, in the end, if he’d succeeded more in terrifying Stephen or in turning him on, but he was at least certain that he’d made an impression.
Maybe that’d be enough.
If not, well. Brian knew where to find him.
