Have you considered having the archive uploaded to AO3 under their Open Doors project?

Thanks for the suggestion, but I wouldn't do that - for two reasons. For one, I dislike the big archives ( I recently did a post lamenting the decline of the little sites) and second, on Scribes every single story was graciously donated by the author, and often with certain restrictions in place. One of the most common was the request that their stories stayed with me, on Scribes of Angel. I was always very aware the stories on site were not mine and I was simply the guardian of them, and that hasn't changed because of the passage of time. I wouldn't even know how to contact some of the authors now that many have moved onto other fandoms, changed emails, stopped writing or even died in a few sad cases.
