My laptop is pretty clearly nearing the end of its life. It makes all kinds of geezer noises (it's five or six years old), has had the screen, keyboard, hard drive and 2 batteries replaced, and, wow, is it slow ( Read more... )

I don't have a MacBook, but I almost bought one already twice this year. The only thing that's keeping me is that I don't need it since I have a desktop PC, a netbook and an iphone.
But I want one ;)

How much do I love my MAC? To the moon and back! I have a MAC at work and regular pc and laptop at home...I will never own another computer that doesn't have a perfect little apple on it! It's fast, clean, and reliable. I do major graphics work and it's the most stable system I've ever used. Macbook Pro is the way to go! Grab that little gem and don't look back. You'll be soooo glad you did. The keyboard shortcuts are amazingly easy to use...you won't be sorry you choose the Macbook!

I have three friends who've recently bought MacBook Pros, and they do love them to death. I know I'll love mine too. I just have to make myself spend the money!

Think of it like buying a house. Yes, it's more expensive in the short term than renting(or owning a pc), but in the long run, you save loads of money(fewer repairs and replacements) and have something valuable to show for it!

I don't have a Mac, but I've used a friend's, and if I had the money, I would totally invest in one.

I adore all three of my macs so much that I just ordered the fourth - a 21" iMac :) My good and faithful mac mini (which is about 5 years old) is slowly dying, and I didn't want to wait till it crashed entirely. My mother-in-law has an eMac that's 6 or 7 years old that we're getting ready to replace - not because it's dying but because it can't be upgraded anymore.

Thank you! This is exactly why I've decided it's time to go Mac. You never see this kind of satisfaction about a particular brand of PC. I'm going to spend the money!
