Oh my god, this is brilliant. And as much as I secretly, shamefully adore the Anita Blake books, this is about a million times better. John Sheppard, the Executioner! And I love brusque, common-sense vamp!Rodney more than the dramatic flair of Jean-Claude. This is just... perfect. ::sighs with satisfaction::

Aww, thank you! I'm a newcomer to the Anita Blake books, but I did have fun reading the first one. When Madelyn suggested this fusion with SGA, I was all: fun! I toyed with the idea of making Rodney more dramatic a la Jean-Claude (who I really do love), but then he just wouldn't have been Rodney anymore. I'm so pleased you thought it worked this way!

Heh, I love the idea of Rodney as a vampire who's been around for hundreds of years revolutionizing physics every so often. And his plan seems so very *Rodney* - he could do something, but why bother leaving his lab if someone else could do it? And the semi-repetition of the first line in the last was great.

Rodney really is a fan of delegating. And why waste time on Master Vampire stuff when he could be winning a Nobel Prize? *g*

So glad you enjoyed this!

Okay, Rodney as da Vinci was pure er...genius. John being out of his depth from before the beginning was also great. Rodney too busy being the scientist to do the minutia of his second job, Master Vampire.

This is a real gem.

You must do more of this. And John can find out when he drinks lemonade that Rodney won't get close to him. Because when Rodney was alive he had a citrus allergy and even after centuries he can't stand to even smell it. So John keeps buying lemon pie and lemonade and fresh oranges but they all go bad because for some reason he never gets around to eating them.

I'm so glad you liked this! I did have fun making Rodney the Master Vampire who'd rather be in the lab. Rodney really would be the funniest vampire ever.

I love that! Oh, John. Trying to pretend you want to keep McKay away when really... I do hope to write more of this, and I'd love to use this bit. Thanks so much for suggesting it!

Feel free to use it if you decide to do more of this story. It will make me dizzy with joy to see it put to good use.

Oh wow, this is amazing! I just bet the vampires have a thing for John Sheppard on his knees. And Rodney the who-knows-how-old genius! *adores*

Any chance there will be more of this? I'm not above begging, you know.

Hee! The Wraith queens always seem to enjoy it, so I figured vampires would, too.

I'm pleased you liked this, doll! And I do plan on continuing their adventures.
