SGA Fic: Bric-a-brac Childbearing

Mar 19, 2007 19:02

I was trying to get people to write me stuff with my Spammy Subject Line Smut game, but then there was this prompt: bric-a-brac childbearing. I've spent WAY too much time hanging out with barely_bean to pass that one up. It's too long for the comments, so I'm posting it here. And yes, yes, there is MPreg in here. *g*

See. I get annoyed when people proclaim all mpreg is just OMGSPORKEYESBAD because well it's a straw argument, but aaanyhoo. This is so shiny!

I may just be made wrong, but the idea of pregnant men will *never* stop amusing me. *g*

I'm glad you liked this!

Hot mpreg sex! I'm...not sure those words have ever been spoken before, but it's true! This was hot and funny and sweet. Three of my favorite things.

Whenever I've pictured Rodney pregnant, I've always had this notion that he'd be a really randy pregnant man. I do worry about myself, yes. *g*

I'm glad you liked this!

I'm so glad you liked this! And it really had better be John's baby or...well, Kavanaugh better run! *g*

I was really hoping someone would pick up that line, because it made me, too, think "those wacky Ancients! look what that device did to that poor unsuspecting man!"

However, your lack of personal experience is showing: (a) you can't hear the baby's heartbeat without a special gadget, and (b) it's so fast it doesn't really sound like a heartbeat, almost more like a thrumming. The microphones earth doctors & midwives use make it sound like a weird, whooshing thrum -- here's an example .wav file.

Hee. I loved that prompt. It said "pregnant Rodney!" to me so very clearly.

I fixed the part where my lack of personal experience shows. *g*

upon re-reading (because I love needy!John so, so much, and I figure this comes before the Ronon-POV story you just posted) I also noticed: the belly-button inverting thing happens in the last month. We called it "the turkey-tester".
