Ah, I can read PG-rated incest, it seems. And good thing, too, because this was a nifty look at moments public and private, and had lovely character notes for both of them as well.

Of course the ending gave me the creepy-incest-squirm, but that's as it should be, too.

They give me that incest-squirm on TV sometimes. It really is quite fascinating how they play that relationship.

In other Adrian Pasdar news, I'm definitely getting the Profit DVDs for Christmas. When I've watched them, we have to get together and squee!!

They really do, even on screen. I'm having a difficult time understanding why they chose to play it that way, unless it's to mess with our heads. Because, seriously.

Yay! There was a commentary in for one of the eps that said that wanted to have Profit frame a politician for a Chappaquiddic-esque kind of death, which of course made me think that a Heroes crossover might be nice.

Or it might be just too much Pasdar in one place.

Words can not describe how incredibly happy I was to see this appear at the top of my flist. My roomate actually poked her head in and said, "Was that... you?" with terror an uncertainty written on her face because the noise that came out of my mouth was truly inhuman. And you delivered wonderfully, as par the course. It was lovely and made me squee with delight even though (because of?) the end was bittersweet. It was so perfectly Peter in all his love and insecurity and rebelliousness and so Nathan with all his careful actions and hidden emotions.

Oh, wow! Thank you. I'm so glad you thought this worked. Nathan and Peter fascinate the hell out of me, but I'm still trying to get a handle on them. It's funny. I like Heroes, but I LOVE the Petrellis. *g*

Oh, god, I LOVE this! So true to their characters, and (as always) beautifully written, and I want to see what happens the Christmas that Peter stops wondering and finds out! *gazes pleadingly at you for a sequel* Thanks SO much for posting. Um...you wouldn't have any more Nathan/Peter stories in you, by any chance...?

I'm so glad you liked this! It's funny. I like Heroes, but I LOVE those Petrelli boys. I guess I just can't help myself when it comes to brothers who are obsessed with each other!

I absolutely have more Nathan/Peter stories in me. In fact, I was just making notes for one this morning on the way to work. *g*

(Also, I'm sure you've probably already read the Nathan/Peter stories by hackthis, but if not, they totally rock!!)

Knowing that you're already plotting more Nathan/Peter stories has me all quivery with anticipation. *dances* And thank you for the reminder about hackthis's stories; when I took a quick peek at her lj, I saw she'd posted a new one ("I'm Not the Man They Think I Am at Home") since the last time I checked, so I'm off to read it now. Nathan/Peter rocks!
