Yes, more art. The urge to draw this hit me last Thursday and I've spent the past week all but glued to my sketchbook, then to my laptop while I colored it.

Totally worth the 126 layers of insanity.

Percy's got the worst luck.
Yeah, the fourth book was when he really got the mindset that Luke was irreparably evil; the third book begins that mindset, but up until then, I think Percy believed there was a way to save Luke, like Annabeth and Thalia believed. I won't spoil the books for you, but there's a lot in those two books that are pretty important to the events of the fourth and fifth books.

As for love triangles, I'm all for them. Makes things interesting.

I actually think I have a similar shirt somewhere. But who knows, I clothing overdosed.

And I haven't finished the last to books (I loaned 'em to a friend of mine when she went on a two week vacation in June, but you know friends, things never make it back to each other quickly xD) but I get the gist of things (I wikipedia'd it. /spoiler whore)
