I cannot apologize enough for the wait on the update. I blame school and four-day weekends with no internet.

I'm really glad you like this fic; it just randomly started because I noticed the lack of L/P fics on ff.net and now I'm really getting into it and can't stop writing. Because people like you like it and that makes me really happy~ :3
Also, glad I'm getting Luke well written. I have so many problems figuring him out for characterization for a post!TLO fic because there's really not much to go by in canon. So yeah, that's good. <3
No idea about the twins' pinky thing. I just put it in there because my sisters do that sometimes and I thought it was kind of cute. We'll see how that goes.
I almost want to up the rating and make it hotter, but I'm a little apprehensive on that.

Yea, Luke is really hard to write, because it's all from Percy's POV, so we don't see Luke for a lot of it. On the bright side, it means we aren't as limited, on the not so bright side, it doesn't give us much to go by. But I approve!!!
I do love the twins' pinky thing though. I remember the daughter of Hecate did something strange in the last chapter that made me stop and think too. So I just can't wait to see what you do with it!!!
Don't stop! Keep writing! This story is awesome! It's L/P and has an actual storyline! How awesome is that?!?!

I like writing characters that are open to interpretation. Plenty of freedom, so long as I don't go wildly OOC.
I give all sorts of characters odd little quirks. Even the canon characters get a little extra something from me, though I tend to keep those quirks somewhat in character.
Also, also, so glad you think this fic is good. :3 It's my first in the fandom that isn't a crossover and fff, you know how nervous first fics are.

I will try to keep the writing streak going. However, finals are next week and gods know that will probably kill my writing schedule. *shakes fist* Curse you schoolwork for absconding with my mind!
I'll be sure to have the next chapter done as soon as humanly possible~ Thank you so much for reading!

I was final able to sit down and let this chapter sink in. I love the slow build between Luke and Percy. Its good that he finally opened his eyes to what was happening around the camp. At the same time I'm a little worried about where this will lead. The camp is still divided.
Oh but its the small things that make me happy. The talk between Luke and Percy the looks, the dreams OMG, they're both having them! I love it!

I like writing slow build ups. There's just something better about working the characters into a relationship, rather than just throw them together for no real reason. You'll have to wait and see where their friendship will take them and the camp. I'm not saying a word of spoilers.
There'll be more of that as the fic progresses. I'm having way too much fun writing it.

I'm trying to go for the slow build myself but I'm stumped on the formula. Its very trying.
Oooooh I can wait. ::twitches::
