Dan/Vanessa friendship flash fic
Dan/Vanessa FRIENDSHIP.
Prompt; Paint [given by overkastskies]
“Dan, can I paint you and Vanessa for my portfolio?”
It had been just like that, a simple, direct question from Jenny to her older brother.
Jenny Humphrey had decided to start this painting of her brother and his best friend on Thanksgiving, and so at 10 in the morning, their Brooklyn home had, with permission from Rufus, their musician father, been converted into a studio.
The subject arrived and laughing and joking, they took up their positions. Rufus stood and watched, and suggested the use of a prop entirely familiar to Dan; coffee and cigarettes.
Hours later, they ceased to keep still, and they went to take a look at Jenny's work. Dan leant an arm over Vanessa's shoulder, and pointed at various parts of the incomplete painting, and oh so accidentally splashed some paint at Vanessa.
And coffee abandoned, a paint fight ensued amongst the small of cooking Thanksgiving turkey.
