Dan/Serena

peppermintdrops - cheers!]
Serena wishes she could live and relive that perfect day, that perfect birthday, over and over.
Lazy mornings had always been one of S's favourite things, but with a certain Humphrey in the equation, nothing could have been sweeter.
09:52am.
A respectable time for a boyfriend of one of the Upper East Side elite. Woken softly by that guy, Serena opened her eyes to a flash of yellow and a smile.
“Happy birthday sleepy...”
Serena smiled, her hair beautifully dishevelled.
“About this...I was going to get a rose, but then...a rose is clichéd beyond all belief, and a sunflower seemed more like you anyway...bright, tall, warm and stunning.”
Serena was speechless. “Thank you,” she managed to find the words. Dan gently wound a lock of Serena's light hair around the sunflower stem and then kissed her on the lips.
“Happy birthday.”
