14. Outsider POV - Drabblescribble_mynameNovember 18 2015, 16:27:05 UTC
Clint was following along fine with the whole debriefing thing until he noticed... was that...?
Natasha watched his eyes narrow speculatively and the way he cocked his head slightly for a better angle and view. She stifled an amused smile.
Maria paused and looked at both of them, then sighed longsufferingly. "Yes, Clint, it's a hickey." She straightened her turtleneck and moved to the next report.
He sat back, all attention again, but looked entirely too pleased.
"Your handwriting is still atrocious," Maria noted. "And please tell me you didn't actually bring home a stray dog from your kill mission?"
14. Maria/Steve Neck Kiss - Ficletscribble_mynameNovember 18 2015, 16:32:10 UTC
A/N: We can just assume more kissing followed.
Maria looked tired when she came in, shoulders drooping, sigh on her lips, and that 'take no nonsense from anybody, I'm not in the mood' look in her eyes. "You made dinner."
Steve wasn't sure whether her surprise was pleased or not. "Thought it'd be a nice change from takeout."
Maria nodded. "I suppose."
She started to slip out of her jacket, then Steve was there helping her out of it because she may have been the kind of woman to rule SHIELD with an iron hand, but she was also the kind of woman who liked small luxuries and little meaningful gestures. He paused before pulling it all the way off and kissed the nape of her neck lightly.
She caught her breath. He hung up her jacket on the rack before looking at her. He didn't get the chance to say another word before she was dragging his head down for another, much longer kiss.
2. Clint/Bobbi "What Might Have Been" - Drabblescribble_mynameNovember 18 2015, 18:32:45 UTC
"You ever wonder what might have been?" Bobbi asked softly.
She had curled up against Clint on the couch, and they'd lay tangled up together for the last hour or so. One more blow up with Hunter, one last time before the divorce papers were finalized.
She wasn't talking about Hunter.
Clint ran his thumb over Bobbi's cheek, and she squinted up at him. Yeah, he'd wondered about it.
He leaned over and kissed her forehead gently. "I don't think now's the time to talk about it."
It was loss talking. The last thing Clint should be was her rebound.
