Allegiant's Out

And let's face it: usually I don't mind spoilers. After Insurgent, I did want to see what I was getting into. I'm glad I did. I'm going to wait until lithiumlaughter or in_the_blue share what they thought, because I have a real problem with logic issues (read: HUGE problem) and I'm on the fence with whether I'll take the finale very well.

I'm going to pretend I got the almost happy ending in book one. *covers ears*

I'm at 8%, I didn't read/hear any spoilers. But if it follows form like Hunger Games did, the first book will remain the best.

I don't mean it's bad so far. Just reminiscent.

Oooooh boy.

My copy hasn't shipped out yet (come on, Amazon! Hustle!). I refuse to spoiler myself, but now I'm going to be worried as I'm reading it. Argh.

Even at the worse, at the very least there'll always be 'Divergent'? Right?

Amen, sister. Always Divergent.

Sorry if I was too specific. I was trying not to spoiler anybody due to my unspoilability being not normal.

Received and read.

Okay, so the first half of the book fell a little flat. It isn’t that it was HORRIBLE, it was just…flat, relative to what I’d come to expect of Veronica Roth based on “Divergent” and “Insurgent”. I made it through that first half, set the book aside.

I picked it up again this morning because hell, I should finish it. May as well find out how it all worked out. I’m attached to the characters, after all. I didn't want to leave them hanging.

AND THEN THERE WAS THE SECOND HALF.

AND THEN THERE WAS THE ENDING.

WHAT.

Please. Thoughts. Need.

I'm not sure yet because I'm still in the swithers about reading it. I hate canon that makes me want to wash my brain in a canon I adore. The Four POV is supposed to be good. The Tris thing probably won't bother me per in_the_blue, but there's still the logic.

Did the logic work for you?
