For something you claim you had to sacrifice two excellent beginnings for, you've created something plain ol' amazing here.

The idea that the lifted veil is from over the eyes of those Michael needs to understand the situation most is beautiful. I am left with this huge sense of hope given that he's got allies on both sides of his OWN veil.

Hannah's gone back to believing -- because in the show, she does tell Michael to give her love to Rex that one time, even if it's possible she was simply saying it to comfort herself or perhaps just Michael. Here, she's honestly IN, and it's heartwarming. She's with Michael, chosen come to him, when he's at his lowest and is in most dire need of someone who believes.

And then Bird. Oh, Bird. He gets it. He's on board because Michael's RIGHT -- he's not crazy in any of the ways that count (beautiful, beautiful turn of phrase there), and their work truly WAS real. They're going to honest partners though, partners in this new secret and new world, and that's going to be HUGE.

Isn't it an awesome feeling when you can say 'screw it', and just kick the door open and send what you've done out of the world? It's a relief, even if you don't know where the piece is going to wander off to.
