Whisper glanced over to see Sunshine cooing happily in her daddy’s arms, waving a tiny fist, then thought of eighteen-month-old Anya currently grounded to her bed. “If you mean did she not bite Heather who woke her up for daring to not be Mommy...” She paused and let Wolf take that in. “Yes, Sunshine’s sweeter.”
“At least Anya doesn’t bite anymore,” he pointed out. Small consolation.
Whisper kissed little Sunshine’s cheek, then her husband’s mouth. “You know you’re in love with both of them.”
