Chatter: How not to change a tire, new year's resolutions, yes, I'm working on the chapter already.

Obviously, this is a general post. I've got a countdown up for the chapter, and I need about 10 images, two of which need photomanipulation. Woot - go me. Next chapter is slowly, but surely, being written. I've got two scenes, and this time I really do think that I won't need too many things. Besides more casual teen male clothes - anybody know of ( Read more... )

Bit of a long trip, that. :) Still, it worked in the end.

You're studying cryptography?! Awesome! Sucks about the whole car-thing though. As for a New Year's resolution I've decided on a little catch-all phrase: New Year, New Me.

Yes, it's much fun, especially now that the class has gotten in gear and they're not giving us huge repetetive packets anymore. Roommate's none too pleased about her car, because money and because she was really hoping to be able to pick up groceries.

New Year, New Ankle. (Preferrably without actually getting it replaced. There's no way I can do that, I'd be in a cast for three months.)

Yeah, clothes for male teens suck. But it's been years since I played Sims 2 and I don't use CC for Sims 3, so I'm totally out of the loop there.

Oh wow, I bet the roommate is upset! I would be. *hugs* for her.

It sounds like quite the adventure.

So how is the ankle doing now? Wooo yoga! I need to get back to doing Wii Fit workouts myself.

Cryptography sounds fun as an idea, but it sounds like it's not turning out so well in reality maybe? I remember you were bored. But now you say you like the class, so that's good. :)

Yay for liking your class partner!

I like 2013 so far! I don't really have any resolutions, but I guess if I did it'd be - to put the angsty past behind me and get on with having fun and being creative and writing things and making a new non-drama space for myself in the Sims community. :)

Well, I found some age-conversions last night, so poor Rean will actually have something to wear at some point... but yeah, there's not a lot of variety for guys in general, especially if you stay out of the realm of badly photoskinned band tees. Thank god for Maxis match because the more recent expansion packs have tolerable clothes that just need more flattering patterns or colors. (Or more variety ( ... )

I knelt on ice and apparently my knees were warm enough to melt it through my jeans but it then the jeans froze back to the ice. Such is the pleasure of winter at 42 North Latitude. (Though, honestly, it's been a weird winter so far, we never get any snow and mostly it's about 30 and windy.

Stretches are fine, it's the actual excercize that I object to. :)

Actually, so far the yoga has been very good at keeping me from having my ankle freeze up in the mornings, but that could also be because it makes sure that I change positions sometimes instead of sitting at my computer, tapping away at my cryptography homework.

It's really fun, but it's not for those who run screaming from math. (Well, I run screaming from math, but not from organization and statistics, which is all it really is besides logic...)

That sounds Fishy. (The only good pun is a bad pun, remember.)

Yeah. You can omit the step of locking your keys in the car. Just always make sure that you a) know what part of the car you can put the jack under, and b) utilize your bodyweight to get the socket wrench to do it's work. I recommend sticking the socket on each nut so that the bar is horizontal to the ground and stomping on it until you can loosen the nuts by hand. :)
