Guys, I promise that writing will occur again soon. Non-technical writing, that is - I've been doing a lot of organizational stuff and editing in order to avoid that final project that simply won't leave me alone ( Read more... )

Is okay. Writing takes time. *nods sagely* *pats you*

Wooo literature! Is excite!

*is not sure what to say so as to not scare her off if she does come back* *waves shyly*

What do you think Madeline L'Engle and Lloyd Alexander's LJ usernames would have been? I like to think Edgar Allan Poe would pick something really cool, like RavenDeath, or DeadPoet, or DegradedBeauty, or PerverseImp or ooooh - SilkenSad! *plays furiously with the internet Ouija board*

That's awesome about the writing challenge! I shall go check it out!

Awwwww - it's wonderfully written, and you totally get the sadness feeling, and the everything all broken, and the disappointment. *hugs* for Martin and Aliea.

I'd like to think that L'Engle would have gone with something like EndlessRingOfLight (seriously, that boook - A Ring of Endless Light - is so damn sad and so good. Also, it gets props for dolphins. I guess L'Engle liked marine biology, so many of her books mention it. :) )

Hmmm... Lloyd Alexander was a funny guy, I think he might get a kick out of something that didn't exactly give away who he was, and reading all the journals on the sly. I'm somehow stumped, but I know (from a magazine that he wrote for prior to his death) that he was a fan of Frost, so what comes to mind is WhatDoesNotLoveAWall.

*Mutters*Hardly the worst thing that will happen to them this round...*Mutters*

You know how much fun I'm having looking up model rocket building so I can finish this scene? It probably shouldn't be allowed, it's so great.

Hmmm... maybe we should use the internet Ouija board to try and summon Dickens? I hear he was great company. :)
