Which I'm all for - my sentient math equations should be able to solve themselves without my input. The've shown a lot of inventiveness this semester in making my life miserable, after all. Also, I'm a sucker for books, and although I'm not allowed to think too much about it (as per the rules,) I've got a list.

Haha, that's how I got my copy of So You Want to be a Wizard. It sort of migrated to under my bed the third time I read it in May, and then the day after the last day of school, I found it under there. Oops.
To be me: be seven or eight years old and trying to explain to classmates that horses have feelings too and that the point of the book was to get people to be nicer to animals. Also, I cried approximately every 5 chapters of Black Beauty.
I actually have a Conneticut Yankee... I don't know if I ever finished it, but I have a feeling I'll like it better than I did in fifth grade. I was not yet a master of parody at ten. :)
Lloyd Alexander and Madeline L'Engle are awesome. L'Engle also wrote quite a few books that weren't necessarily for kids - one of my favorites is The Arm of the Starfish, and I think I already told you that my own religious beliefs owe more to her books than to my Catholic upbringing. :)
