Well, That Could Have Gone Better 010

If you really think about bodies they're a lot like machines. Actually, bodies are machines, but they're just squishy, bleedy machines with a skin and a soft bag of snot, blood and organs inside! But people don't like it when I talk about organs, but they don't mind when I talk about the innards of machines. I don't quite understand that rule to be ( Read more... )

...What kind of experiments?

Uhm, fun experiments! It all depends on your body and how far we want to see it go.

...Tempted to just say I'll pass, but at the same time I'm curious.

I'll... pass.

The last time I offered to help, I got threatened by being cursed and ended up getting magic that I didn't want.

Cursed? Magic? Oh my God, who wants to use magic? This is science, which is like ten times better because anyone can do it!

Although, doing the task didn't get me cursed, to my knowledge.

Back in Vana'Diel, practually everyone can use magic!

Like Alchemy? I know a little of it, but I'm not good like some other people that I know.

Yeah, it's like alchemy! You can do really cool things with it, and it has some really awesome ideas in it like math and chemistry and biology and they're all linked together!

It's like unravelling the world. It's so cool.

"Experiments"...?

An experiment is when you conduct a controlled test or investigation!

Let's say you have a question, Lily! Which cupcake tastes the best? You would take one of each cupcake and taste them and then write down how much you liked it. At the end, you'd look at your data and know which cupcake flavour is your personal best!

Science!

You're not...planning on experimenting on passengers, are you?

Even with their consent...that isn't right.

screwyoubob January 6 2009, 02:40:18 UTC
If they consent then it's right! Because that is informed consent which is very important in the ethics of running experiments! I have read a lot about ethical experiments and I'm ready to give it a go!

Do you want to experiment with me?

thisis_not_good January 6 2009, 02:42:18 UTC
Ah...eheh. No.

screwyoubob January 6 2009, 02:44:47 UTC
I would give you information which is part of a disclosure agreement beforehand which would mean that it would be an ethical experiment!

How many spines do you have?
