I haven't had a big case in weeks. It's almost like crime decided it wanted to go off on vacation. Maybe I should be happy that the city is at peace for once in a long time. On the surface anyway. The black market is probably having seasonal sales right now

I guess the Chief doesn't promote idiots or something, so all th'dumb people are like... at the bottom of the food chain? Maybe if you're just nice to 'em they'll hook you up. People do that and there's not a lot of doors ta open really... Unless ya know about some sort of thing I don't. And 'sides, people're getting arrested they're just not...asking for lawyers or somethin'...

Seems awfully lax for an organization that handles such delicate matters. If it's that easy to get insider information then I'm not so sure information is as reliable as I thought it was.
