When the name Claire is translated into Japanese, you end up with クレア.
When クレア is transliterated into Latin script, you end up with ク ku レ re ア ya.
While there isn't any reason for the English voice acting to switch what name is used, what they are switching between at least makes some sense.
In the end though, they should have stuck with Kureyah if they were going for an "Exotic Foreign Name" or Claire if they wanted an actual English translation.

Yeah, I knows that's the closest transliteration of "Claire" you could get in Japanese. It's just incredibly bizarre to me how inconsistent it is, and how they apparently decided at one point that that's what the creators were going for, then switched back to assuming it was meant to be "Kureyah." Most of the inconsistent dubs are names with similar problems- for example, the Rizwan/Lizwan/Lizlan/Rizlan confusion or Diadora/Deirdre. I just don't understand why they would dub it one way, then change the names in the script back to more direct transliterations.

Aren't dub scripts often rushed out early so that they can get the voice recordings done, and even outsourced to different translation agencies for this purpose, meaning that they're likely to be inconsistent with the finalised scripts? But from what you've said, the dubs themselves flip back and forth... perhaps the script, or at least the localised names, were constantly being revised during dubbing and nobody had the time or money to go back and redub things? Still, though, Claire/Kureyah... you really don't expect to get errors like that any more. (I guess it was released five years ago, but still.)

(Different anon to the comment above, by the way.)

"He's actually a salesman you know!" Really? I didn't recognise him at all!

Also, Inpu appear to be Slenderman's pet dog.

That is... actually a pretty good description of those things. Though I think there's some elephant in their DNA, too.
