Yay! I love the tweet ending. It took me a while to wrap my mind around CPine and KBell, but why not?

I really like the perception shift in this fic; in RPF we generally treat Zach as the brave, open, honest one in contrast to a partner who's so closeted he, like, dates girls and acts like he enjoys it. It's really interesting to highlight the contrast between Zach's and Jesse's relative positions instead, to have Zach on the wrong side of Jesse's ultimatum, and to be reminded that outside of happy fantasyland, he's still making a life choice that's got a significant personal cost.

Thanks so much -- I'm so glad that came across, the whole 'by the way, even when both partners are gay there are still problems', and different characters bringing different issues to the table. Seriously, I'm going to be thinking of this fic every time I watch Modern Family now and wishing this will someday happen.

I love LOVE Zach's stupid terrible tragedies about what if his pets fall in love with Jesse too, and oh noes, his boyfriend got nominated for an Emmy, now he's going to get dumped. Just, omg, I was laughing and crying at the same time. And them consoling Chris over his breakup! And Zach's DANCING, LOL. That's totally how I dance, too.

KBell and CPine make an adorable couple, and I've never even thought about the pairing before, but I kind of ship it now.
