That whole experience just had to suck plain and simple. i'm so sorry you had to deal with that. what town by the way did the cop pull you over in or was it a state trooper? being our state is so broke they are trying their hardest to give tickets to people. i can't believe even with a pba card and your FIL being a retired cop he still gave you a ticket and impounded the car. he was just a dick cop plain and simple. i wish him a horrible bout of warts on places he can never get to with a washcloth. i know we had a similar situation which i posted on your f/b but i didn't know your whole story till now. wow! i hope you are ok. i hope it never happens again, but if it does and you can't get a hold of someone call me!!! i will help you. keep my cell # in your phone.
Sucks! I know how you feel. Nick's car got towed in front of a crazy old person's house (long story, he did NOT block her driveway, crazy bitch) a few months ago. Our bill ended up being $250 total, which we certainly did not have.
Police Benevolent Association. Basically a card you get from a cop friend or relative and usually when you present it they let you off with a warning. Works for speeding tickets, not murder. :)
