Dead Poets Society

I accomplished two things today: Firstly, I read the first volume of 'Pride & Prejudice' (finally, after so many years of watching the BBC series with my mum) and secondly, watched 'Dead Poets Society' for the first time in my life. Both may seem ridiculous and most of you have probably been there done that years ago but still. There's not much ( Read more... )

DPS was one of the films that moved me to the core. That really made me look differently at the world. It IS slashable, and hell, gay!angst would suit that nice. But still, I had to much respect for the film and the great role of R. Williams, to slash it :)

Yes! I mean, it is a really deep and moving film, and I have lots of respect for it, but still... The fangirl inside started screaming so loudly. ;)

I totally adored DPS. I feel moved too every time I see it. And well R.Williams is my favourite actor ever!

He makes a great teacher, doesn't he? And I'm sure I would love to have one such as him, but sadly I'm destined to have the unordinary ones. Although I must admit my English teacher is one of the most awesome people I ever met.

Oh DPS, back when Ethan Hawke was still adorable. I didn't see it until my senior year of college, hah, so I know what you're talking about. There's a vid on youtube - I think by MysticTwilight - that crosses DPS with House, and is SO.DAMN.GOOD.

I heard from one of the girls I watched it with that one of the actors plays in House but I don't know which one! If you can, go ahead and send me the link to that YouTube vid.

It's Neil! Robert Sean Leonard plays House's best friend Wilson on the show these days, and is ADORABLE. If Shadows We Have Offended blends the two worlds together so seemlessly it makes me giddy *g*

DPS *snickers* you're not seeing things, dear, or if indeed you did, then perhaps, I, you, and so many people out there have been affected by some kind of hallucinogen until we could see things
