Was September the month I was going to start posting again? Guess not. So I'm just popping in between trips (we were in Cleveland over Labor Day weekend, and we leave for Austin tomorrow) to post the playlists that have piled up ( Read more... )

I miss E Street Radio. Wonder if I can convince Enterprise to give me a car with satellite radio on Monday...

leave it to EW to post a list of "best evers", with a grand majority of them being films released within the past 3 years, that hand stood enough of a test of time to be considered a "best ever"

of course, I couldnt point out that most of them are computer generated as opposed to actualy being animated, but that would be splitting hairs... besides, Disney still practicaly owns the monopoloy on animated feature films (in quanitity if not quality)

how were the dandy warhols live? it's weird...i have always liked them but always forget about them. i am just now watching wonderfalls & the episode i saw plays a song of theirs a few times.

They were all right. I didn't know very many of the songs, so a lot of them sounded kind of similarly droney to me. The back half of the set was better than the first half. They played a long time, which was probably cool for their real fans. I haven't listened to them a whole lot--I won these tickets.
