*They say time heals all wounds.  Unfortunately for Shinn, the tragedy at Berlin has left a wound inside him that boggles the mind.  He was there.  He had said he'd protect her.  He had been right there at the cockpit... and yet he had watched helplessly as Stella died before his eyes, hearing her last moments with crystal clarity.

[A knock on the door. And a muffled voice.]

Shinn, can I come in?

*He doesn't answer, but the door's unlocked*

[Comes in. And sits next to his bed.

...Cue silence.]

[A man stands outside Shinn's door, debating whether to knock or not. For now, he's just kind of slouching indecisively.]

*The door swings open slightly. Turns out that Quattro's 3 timing is thrice that of some other GDF members.*

... Could you please move out of my way? I'm very hungry and I'd like to actually get lunch for once.

I... *Any objections are devoured by his starving body. He really has gone too long without food.*

... I guess I don't have any reason to say no.

*Shinn stirs in his bed slightly. That was right: Luna deserved an explanation.*

It's unlocked.

*He pushes himself up into a sitting position, although he is holding one of his pillows between his arm tightly.*

*Shinn reaches up, holding one of Luna's hands with his own.*

... Stella was... I met her almost by accident at Brazil. And she was just a sweet girl with the mind of a kid. In a way she almost reminded me of Mayu.

I saved her from drowning, but even after then she was scared, panicking. I did my best to calm her down, letting her know I'd protect her no matter what. And then the next time we fought the Armory-1 thieves... I found out it was her in the Gaia.

I'd hoped that when we managed to reclaim the machine that she'd stop fighting, but then... Blue Cosmos just put her in that horrid monster of a Gundam. And I guess you were there for everything that happened at that point.

He wasn't on the mission but -- seeing his roommate the way he was, Guy couldn't help himself. Shinn was begging for some comfort and a means to get back together, and Guy wanted to see that through. Otherwise, the Evoluder wouldn't stop having this sympathetic look on his face*
