[A pair of medics rush by Shinn, carrying a stretcher between them. On the stretcher is an unconscious, bruised, and bloody Athrun, being carried to the infirmary.]

*... And that just sent Shinn down to an even *lower* low. After all, Athrun had said he'd need to have the courage to pull the trigger if worst came to worst. He hadn't been able to save Stella. He hadn't been able to even give her a swift end. And Athrun's condition was all his fault.

... And with that Shinn just falls down into the fetal position, quietly crying.*
