I... don't really fault you for what you were either. you had the strength of confidence to believe the GDF could safely use the Requiem. It's just, for lack of strength or confidence in us keeping it safe, I couldn't.

Yeah... well, we'd probably need a special detachment to keep it secure. I would've volunteered what space forces Orb has for that, but then... we'd need others in case something like what happened with the Seirans happens again.

It's a powerful and unreliable weapon, that's what it is. With proper coordination, someone could sabotage the cannon firing and destroy a relay station... and then suddenly instead of a military target the GDF's responsible for the destruction of a civilian one.

As for what Kira and I pulled? We'll probably be thrown in the brig for insubordination. I don't think either of us will be in too serious of trouble though.
