ok, a few weeks ago, he tried to tell me that i couldnt have morals or ethics because im not religious, and then last night, he says that bush would make a good president simply on the basis that he is a 'good christian' ARGH! i am really starting to think that the core problem with america and the world is religion. and without it, the world would be a much much much better place

Tell your friend that Bush needs to read Matthew 5:9 to be a good Christian.

What the world needs is not less religion, but less people who push their religion on others. I mean, look at all those states that banned gay marriage. Who does gay marriage hurt?

Oh, and tell your friend that you can have morals and ethics without religion, its called Secular Humanism.
