Ugh, yeah. I know what you mean there. That... doesn't seem right at all.
Looks like magic or hypnosis like abilities might be involved. Were there any surveillance cameras in the area or at the store. Might not be likely but maybe whoever this woman didn't think about that with her spells.
Magic or brainwashing seems to mind, but given that the incident took place in a magic shop, it's going to be difficult to pin down any particulars when I have to cast such a broad net.
If DATS has any files on any red-heads with that sort of ability, I certainly would not turn down the assistance there. As is, I've got a couple of potential avenues open to pursue, as well as a couple possible perps.
The thought of cameras is a good idea, I keep forgetting mundane security in this business. Unfortunately, since I'm a Civ-con, all I can do is ask nicely. If DATS has the authority to request any videos that may exist, it might go a long way to solving this.
