That New Orleans tournament looks like a lot of fun! I was on the fence, but the dictionary fiasco and the poor payout at Nationals guided me away. I might do a local tournament here and there, and maybe WGPO Nationals, but I'm finding it difficult to spend money on Scrabble in the current climate.
NOLA has some of the most generous payouts, I think - we have always been at about 70%, with $2k or so for first. But yeah, the dictionary issue was a bit of a letdown for us. Hope to se eyou soon!
