This was absolutely perfect. I love Dan being confident and sexy and unshaved and red-shirted and hurt and comforted and my sister-in-law used to have collapsed lungs on a regular basis and Danny's in boxers and oh my god, I can't breathe!!

Seriously loved this, Scout, just in case you couldn't tell. A few of my most favoritest lines:

but if we start . . . if we start this, I don’t think I can ever go back."

He wasn’t quite as prepared to deal with the way his heart skipped a beat every time Danny caught his eyes and smiled, so he just ignored it.

I was all worried and tense. Collapsed lungs are scary things, I knew someone who woke up with one. Very scary.

I loved the Isaac scene, and I loved the way you used it to get Casey to face up to his feelings.

This was great! Danny's red shirt, Dan in his boxers, Dan doing that-thing-with-his-mouth, near-to-death (but not too near!) Danny; out-of-his-mind-with-anxiety Casey realising what he has to lose, and that he has to speak up before it's too late; wise and fatherly Isaac, boys making out - and such a nice, long fic too, with plenty for the reader to get her teeth into (no, I don't mean Danny's neck!). Reading this was like Christmas all over again, but without my terrible cooking. Thank you! (And thank you to fizzerbass for the request.)
