hey scott...its your favorite lurker jase brazwell here... true the night was really, really hot last wednesday...however, no matter....that poem spits hot fire like dylan from making the band. the poem was so damn hot, that it didn't even matter that you had been growing your hair out. i'm sure i'm not alone when i say that we appreciate how much you run your poems through the mighty editing machine that resides in your basement....but sometimes....it doesn't even matter man. the energy of the room....the relevance of the piece.....the sheer magic of the performance (on paper no less)...has the potential to overcome most obstacles during the midst of a slam. i was talking to kim in the car on the way home that night...and you just had this attitude on the mic when you performed it...almost eerie and uncomfortable (in a good way)....the only way i can describe it ...is that it felt like Chris Brown, himself, was somewhere in the room...and you were talking directly to him. loved it man....
