I probably need not further extol the virtues of Bill Campana here.  Just know that he came into the Writers' Block show Wednesday night and destroyed our night completely in the best way possible.

The guy featured for almost 40 minutes, twisting surrealism into realism, bending the walls of every eardrum to his will for miles, and had us with him

wednesday night was definitely the highlight of my year poetrywise and otherwise. you, vernell, and the whole crew really made me feel as if i were in my home venue. i couldn't have asked for a more receptive audience and more gracious hosts. and i can't get dave's home grown tomatoes out of my mind. in fact, i'm working on a new poem called tomato aspic with bill.

You know we built a $100 million dollar art center just for him to read at. We're going to tear it down on the 28th, as it will no longer have purpose.
