Oh dear. Honesty isn't always the best policy. On the other hand, it might encourage Jack to be a bit more careful (when he's had time to calm down and realise that Ianto didn't mean to hurt him).
I like how you have used Gwen as match-maker. An unusual choice, but a refreshing change from Gwen-bashing.
