“Uncle Ianto, come on!” Mica called impatiently as she sailed smoothly past. Ianto stepped warily onto the ice.
”Don’t let it slide,” Jack had insisted when Ianto was about to postpone Mica’s birthday treat... again.
Ianto sighed and let go of the barrier. His confidence rising slightly as he stayed upright he moved one foot forward, then the other.
The next thing he knew he was sitting on the ice, the cold beginning to seep through his trousers.
“I’ll give Jack ‘Don’t let it slide’,” he grumbled. “I knew we should have gone to McDonald’s!”
