New housemate

Our new housemate ... Mademoiselle Maya, Persian Princess, deaf, tricolour and 16 yrs. old. Her former owners brought her to our vet to have her put down (long story) and our vet said no, but kept her. We are now feeding her like a kitten every two hours so she can gain weight again and she already has all the dogs under her paws :D

She's so cute! I guess her owners were crap, eh? Doesn't seem like they took very good care of her. Sometimes people suck!

The owners were okay-ish. They kept her and her mate but when the male cat died of old age, Maya started to mourn and did not eat properly anymore.
Now, they did have the right idea of getting her a new mate, but instead of getting her an older cat and going to a shelter with her to meet the cat beforehand, they bought a brandnew kitten. Said kitten mobbed Maya and Maya only slept and didn't eat much anymore. Hence they wanting to have put her down.

Now she eats for two, still sleeping a lot but she likes to sleep cuddling up to our senior dogs. :)

Aw, she's too pretty!

When we got her she was feathery light ... as if she was disappearing, now after almost two weeks she has gain two pounds and her bones are not so present anymore.
