Take the OT. It's yours and you want it. Either that, or offer to trade some shifts with her, so you can get the OT at another time that's convenient to you (or ask her to work the next holiday for you in exchange). This girl needs to learn that her own priorities don't outweigh those of her colleagues. Her actions in the past have inconvenienced you; don't let her do it again.

I agree with the other posts. It appears she's abused the privilege of flexible scheduling and it's not your turn to bail her out.

And what if you give her the hours, then she shows up late or not at all? That would just be a waste of money that could have been in your pocket!

No worries. You really should work the shifts if you want to. Your supervisor approached you, not her. That's the key. It's a business decision.
