I will be appearing at the NYCC for one day (and one day only!), this Friday, October 11th.

Damn. I never bought tickets. And the last time I just tried to go that day, it was sold out.

This would actually be easy to go to and get back before Shabbos too.

And if you want a bit of amusement -- it may be that I'm just overexcited over the book release, but I had dinner at a local restaurant recently, and the drinks menu irresistibly reminded me of certain themes in your books, to the point that I wondered if the bartender was a fan.
I can HIGHLY recommend both the Gentleman's Shiv and the Foul Corsair.

Alas -- no Austershalin brandy!! ;)
