Urquhart's rooms smells of spices and smoke when he opens the door. There is a fire in the brazier, and a tray of small spicy pastries by the divan, exuding a scent of cardamom and cinnamon and aniseed and cloves

Moist smiles as he takes off his overcoat and sheds the parts of his role before kissing Urquhart.

Urquhart takes him in his arms and slides his hands down his back, feeling the muscles over Moist's shoulder blades.

Words are very unnecessary.

Words also have a way of providing complications, kisses and caresses have no such problem and Moist molds himself to Urquhart.

Urquhart's hands slide down Moist's side and stroke his hips.

They are pressed together, front to front, heat rising between them.
