The Great Madella? I have only heard that song once, in 1968 I think. It was amazing. I'm waiting for an earnest Folk Music revival. It was never very popular here for some off reason.
Leonard Cohen is on tour soon. He is bypassing the Boston area. To see him live is the great lifetime aspiration I have alway had. The last time he was in Boston he was slated to play at the Symphany Hall. He was bounced at the last minute and wound up having to play at some night club. Peter Paul, and Mary are/were wonderful. By the way the archaic phrase "Artsy Xartsy" has long been truncated to "Artsy".
