I had wondered what happened to Seth Stevenson, one of my fave Slate contributors.  Turns out he was doing an experiment, taking Paxil to see if it helped his shyness.  Dumbass.

It does, however, make for an interesting (and disturbing) read.

i've heard success stories about pretty much every antidepressant BUT Paxil -- with Paxil it's all horror stories, all the time.
