ABOUT GRIF...
dexter grif is a 27 year old member of the unsc marine corps, serving in the years around 2553. he is the first and only draftee in something like 400 years. before his unwilling service, he lived in honolulu, hawaii with his younger sister kaikaina grif. he is a member of the red army/team, enemy of the blue army/team. since his service, his most serious injury has been being run over by a unsc scorpion tank. this resulted in nearly all of his organs and some of his other body parts (left arm, "flank", "brisket", etc) being replaced by those belonging to one of his teammates (pfc dick simmons), who was scheduled to be turned in to a part-cyborg soldier for shits and giggles anyway. grif's overall health is poor. he lives off junk food, smokes, and is slightly overweight. he is allergic to many cleaning chemicals and has a considerable phobia of bats.
