I missed the first 15 minutes of the episode, which really defeats the purpose. I'm going to watch it on demand later!
However, I liked all of the "father" issues that popped up. There's the Cabe/Walter father relationship paralleled with the Walter/Ralph father relationship, complicated with the fact that Ralph's dad is now back in the picture.
I especially like Toby's comment: "You can't just be his buddy, you have to be the grown up, too." Ralph needs Scorpion to allow him to grow intellectually, but Drew brings up a good point - he needs to be a kid, too.
This show keeps me on the edge of my seat and I say "Holy shit!" A LOT!
Drew actually made some good points this week. Yes, Ralph is a genius. Yes, his intelligence needs to be challenged to help him grow intellectually. However, he is a child and needs to be a child. It was good to see Walter acknowledging that it can't be all fun all the time with Ralph and I love that Toby reminded him of that. Also love that Toby gave Walter some good tips to help with his rocket. Plus, I do believe Happy was a smidge impressed with what Toby did to save the computer guy (can't remember his name). I ESPECIALLY love that Toby used a tampon and a battery charger to save the kid's life. SO COOL!
Does Cabe have to get smacked around in every episode? He's supposed to be a seasoned professional but he gets whacked more often than Worf did on ST:TNG.
