Naoto had been taking her time when it came to exploring this new place. It was best to be prepared, after all - who knew when the knowledge would come in handy, after all? It was worth it to know. Besides, she was searching for a potential place to put her detective agency - it wasn't as if she needed a large office, but it was likely that she would have problems with the rent. The natives were not very kind to those from other worlds, after all. However, she hadn't expected to run into Yosuke while she was out exploring - she knew that he was around Anatole, of course. She had spoken to him already.

She saw no reason to ignore him - they were part of the Investigation Team back in Inaba, and while they had their disagreements, she still trusted him more than the other people that she had met in this place.

"Senpai. I see you are out exploring as well."

And there was Naoto. Yosuke wasn't entirely surprised: aside from their leader, she was the one he'd dub most likely to be out investigating.

They were still down a few (and man, did Yosuke wish that Souji was going to leave Inaba a week later than he did, so he could be sucked into whatever the hell was going on now) but he found himself falling into the same old routine from the last year. "Yeah. Figured I'd see what was out here. Besides, it was getting kind of boring hanging around the outlander block spamming up the network." He paused. "You know, not a lot of guys seem to know what a DVD or TV even is." This still struck him as stranger than being trapped in a fog-shrouded city.

"It doesn't seem to be that odd. When you take the fact that we are from different worlds into consideration, it does make sense."

And it did! This place was evidence of that, considering that there didn't seem to be anything remotely like the technology that they had back home. If it was like that here, then it was likely that it was like that in the worlds that many of the people here came from. She sighed and put a hand on her hip as she watched Yosuke. "In any case, there are more important things that require our attention at the moment."

"Yeah. I wonder how many people even know what electricity is." This was delivered sourly: he was glad that they had running water, as given how some of the people were talking...better not to think about it.

He turned from the offending fruit to Naoto. "You got any ideas about how we can get back to Inaba? I know Ted's here, but I haven't heard from anyone else."
