Who: Minato Namikaze (yellowkamikaze ) and Kushina Uzumaki (dattebamato ) (Eventually maybe Naruto and Sakura as well)
When: Right after their arrival
Where: The Outlander new arrival apartment place thingy
Format: Prose
What: Minato and his wife both show up in Anatole. He rushes to comfort her and be there for her, but he needs her just as much as she needs him.

Just like any ninja, or person in her position, Kushina was at first a little cautious when she walked up to the door. While her strength had returned, she was still pretty damn defenseless without a weapon. Naruto had said something about not being able to use her chakra.

Naruto.What were the chances that Minato and Naruto both were in this place? She wasn't complaining, but it seemed almost too good to be true. Kushina had expected to be alone for a very long time before she met her son again ( ... )

Minato watched quietly as the door opened. When he saw her face, he breathed a sigh of relief and gave her a weak smile. He couldn't describe the feeling he got from seeing her again, alive and well and breathing. Even in her state of disarray, she was still the most beautiful woman he'd ever laid eyes on.

"You give me too much credit," he replied, reaching out. He couldn't help his hand as it traveled up to her cheek and brushed against it weakly.

She was real.

Taking another breath, he pulled his hand back and slipped his coat off his shoulders. Looking around to make sure nobody had followed, he stepped into the room and closed the door before sliding the coat around her shoulders. They were alone now, and he could be however he wanted with her.

Blue eyes glanced up and down her form, checking for any wounds or anything at all. "Are you okay?" he finally asked, even though he'd already asked the same question over the device.

She had a child, got the Kyuubi ripped out of her, exhausted her chakra, died (more or less), and then was placed in a place that was making less sense the more she found out about it.

"I'm fine," she sighed and rubbed the back of her neck. "Somehow, but I'm definitely tired from childbirth. I didn't even get a little time to-"

If she thought about it, she would start crying again and that was the least thing she wanted to do. She shook her head to rid the thoughts and tugged his coat around herself more tightly.

"I'll be okay," A grin appeared on her face. "You know me."

Yes, he knew her. She was pretty much unbreakable. Nothing had ever gotten her down. Even as a jinchuuriki, she still lived a happy life. Even in their last moments together, all she could talk about was about how happy she was to have been a mother and to have been with Minato.

Kushina, his unbreakable Kushina.

Sliding an arm around her, he led her towards the bed. She needed to relax and rest. Even though their injuries had healed somehow, she had still just given birth, and Minato wanted to check her over.

"Just take it easy for now. I'm right here. Things will be okay," he assured as he sat her down. He dropped to his knees in front of her, glancing down at the hole in her shirt. "Do you feel strange or anything?"

His full attention was on her so her embarrassment came through, and she covered her bare stomach with one hand while the other scratched the back of her head. "Hey, I'm fine. Just a little tired!" A little was an understatement, but she didn't want to worry him more. He was probably trying to figure out what was going on in this place.

She was too, but wasn't getting much success in comprehending any of it. The Door, the mist, Dismas, Anatole; things she had never heard of. What did it mean?

"And confused. I don't remember ever reading about this being part of the sealing, and my clan was specialized in seals." Her brow furrowed and she raised a hand to brace her mouth against it. Her mind wandered until she released a sigh.

At least they knew Naruto had turned out okay. It still hurt to think that she had never been there for him, but he didn't seem angry. In fact, he looked glad to see her. They needed a long talk.

The three of them.

"What now? You're the one with all the smart ideas, y'know."
