[Normally, he'd object to her trying to pay for their entrance to the festival (because, wasn't he supposed to be the one worrying about money?), but she seemed to be in such a good mood, and since he was indulging her today, he decided to let the matter slide--no need to upset her with an argument about how children didn't need to worry about such things.
