Kenpachi woke up in the same old apartment that he had started in before. He simply raised a brow in a "whatever" expression and stood up. He looked around the apartment with a slightly amused look and decided that he had better things to do and left. He wandered down the street, taking in all the sights. The forge rested in his pocket. The fact that he could use it never really occurred to him. There was something nice about being unknown again.

He laughed as he continued down the streets, the other people scattering as he moved past. A chance to establish himself again. Things were getting interesting again, that's for sure. Ah, but there was one piece he was missing for this to be complete.

Yachiru.

It was building up, like the feeling of waiting for something you can't possibly stand waiting another second for. Like the night before her birthday or the feeling right before a really big fight. Despite the proprietor's objections, she had set Lilla and Pachi on the table and was herself standing on the table top doing bizarre, lightfooted gymnastics. Definitely too much sugar. The employees of the bakery knew better than to try to stop her, however, since more than one of them had earned himself a face full of icing or worse for trying to interfere with her revelries. Though with the amount of spoons and plates that her feet sent flying and the ruckus her activities were starting to create among the other patrons, it probably wouldn't be long until someone was forced to at least make the attempt to usher her out of the building.

She had been here before, when he first came, so it stood to reason that she'd be here again. The problem was that they never showed up in the same place. For whatever stupid reason this place had for doing that.

He could use the Forge but Yachiru isn't exactly one for getting back to people when she's busy with...anything. And being here would certainly be a distraction. He hasn't heard her over the network yet. She's probably doing the same thing he is: wandering the streets for the hell of it.

No. She usually had objectives. Like candy and other sugary things. Or something that would entertain her. Hm. There was a few shops that she used to frequent because they had just those things down in the marketplace. Heh, yeah. That's a good place to start. If she's not there, she'll show up eventually.

Kenpachi changes his wander to a purposeful stride. He's even going in the correct direction for once. Well, mostly.
