[It's about that time! Cards in hand, grin on face, Dawn takes a spot on one side of the stage (more level and sturdier than last year's! Whoever built this, thanks!) and waits for Utena to take her place at the other side.

Tonight's the night! An what a night it is! It's the night to put your ivories where your mouth is, Anatole ...and Wynn ...or where your bidding hand is, because that's how this works - you gotta raise your hand to bid!

So. Many thanks to the Stark fam for letting us commandeer their place for a while, and to Tonks and Shirley for the big assist with the snow, and to all of you who pitched in and made food, or signed up someone - or someones.

And to Utena for helping me with all of this!

Oh, oh - and to Daenerys Targaryen for resurrecting the Dragon's Hearth and giving us something to come together and do, a fight we can fight without property destruction or ...well, actual fighting.

[Just looking at this ballot for a moment. Oh. That handwriting. It's Clare's. No, no, her eyes aren't a little misty at all. It's the lighting. And she's sticking with that.]

First up, we have Daniel Trepkos!

Daniel Trepkos is a strange man. He seems to focus on experimentations more than life, but as he is also kind and intelligent, he would be a good candidate for dating if you wished to try and get him out of his shell.

The knowledge he has demonstrated in Anatole so far indicates he would be a worthy purchase.

Do I hear twenty five ivories? Come on, you guys - let's start the first one off with a bang!
