[ Allen had, predictably, managed to get turned around on his way back to the dojo. He had a hard enough time not getting lost when he knew where he was, after all. It had really only been a matter of time.

He was about to turn back the way he came when he saw what he was sure was a familiar figure on the pillar. Come to think of it, what had happened to Lavi? Allen wasn't sure. But there he was, unless this was a joke or Allen was wrong...

He made his way over to the redhead, stopping a few feet away. ]

...Lavi? Is that you? Are you okay?

[At least that was one thing that never changed with Allen, his natural ability to get lost. It had made it easier to pick on the younger Exorcist Lavi had started to consider a younger brother. If he had let himself have a family, anyway, recent things had shot that idea to hell. Especially with how Allen (and Lenalee) kept managing to wander off and not return.

He tried to ignore the footsteps heading toward him, it was either another native or a monster of the Mist come to torment him again for being in its realm. But Allen's voice made him stiffen and he opened his eye, raising an eyebrow.]

Allen? [Frowning.] What are you doing here? You left... [Again. Hesitates on answering the last question.] I'm fine.

[ Confusion passed over Allen's face. Why did everyone keep saying things like that? First Miranda had insisted they'd spoken, and now Lavi said he'd left. Only he'd never been here at all! ]

How could I have left? I just got here!

[Lavi frowned more, sitting up on the pillar to look Allen over. Yeah, he looked like he had been through hardships but at the same time... The odd feeling of Allen being "older" or more experienced with something had vanished.]

No one told you this place can grab you and you won't remember being here?
